Richard Mille’s collaboration with Bubba Watson dates back to the first RM 38 model introduced in 2011. The manual winding Tourbillon G-Sensor RM 38-01 with its tonneau shaped case measuring 42.70 mm x 49.94 mm x 16.15 mm is made up of three parts being the front and back cover crafted in white Quartz TPT, Quartz TPT is made up of hundreds of filaments that are stacked on top of each other and molded under extreme pressure and high temperatures the middle case is crafted from Grade 5 Titanium and coated with a white rubber layer for protection, these layers are held together with 20 x Grade 5 Titanium screws, offering a water resistance up to 50. The Caliber RM 38-01 with a G-sensor, this mechanical device registers the amount of G-forces created by the golfer during his swing and records this on the dial at twelve o’clock. The tourbillon movement offers hours, minutes and g-force indicator and a power reserve of 48 hours when fully wound. This is a limited-edition piece of 50 pieces.
